Bhopal, June 9 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Saturday took potshots at yoga guru Baba Ramdev, asking him first to declare his credible source of income ahead of launching a campaign to get back the black money stashed in safe havens abroad.
"First he should tell as to where did he get property worth Rs. 1,100 crores? This means that in the last eleven years, his property has increased by 100 crores each year. Where did this come from? He is an ascetic who has no personal money or business. Where did he get Rs. 1,100 crores in the last eleven years? He has himself accepted that he has Rs. 1100 crores worth property," said Singh.
"Does he have a magic stone to turn stones into gold? Does he have a magic wand or what else does he have that he has amassed Rs. 1100 crores without any production or business? He should reply that first," he added.
Baba Ramdev, who has been carrying on a campaign to bring back the black money stashed away in foreign shores, has been meeting the leaders of various political outfits to build a consensus on the issue. (ANI)
