On one side, Congress ensures that we have a weak lokpal bill to tackle corruption and on the other hand it rewards the anti-corruption crusader. It's a very clear attempt by the Congress to appease Anna and team to paint an image in the public domain that it's pro-development and anti-corruption. No matter what acting Congress does, Indians have now realized their nefarious agenda. It's only a matter time that this corrupt party is thrown out of power from centre and states as well. Jai Hind!!!

Reward anna by bringing Jan Lok pal bill,he will be happier as this money he will donate for public cause.

Anna Hazare should refuse to accept the award given by the corrupt congress govt. Congress is the most corrupt govt in the world.Its top leaders have slashed away crores and crores of rupees in swiss bank.

Anna is on a mission and every mission needs money... there is nothing wrong in accepting award & cash...
As he is not at all attracted by money, materials,name & fame... I trust that the money will be spent for a good cause... Congress should be aware of this... They can not buy him... at least not in this life.....

Be careful Anna jee, the same crooks from the Delhi Government will then expect you to give a account of the 25 Lakhs , best is to take the award and immediately from the same Dias donate it to a just cause.

Anna just be careful, later Congress will ask IT dept to raid and confiscate this money.
Team anna should refocus on Jan Lokpal bill. Budget session is arriving in March.

Annaji must never accept this award by polite refusal and should tell Govt. that if Govt. at all appreciate his Anti corruption movement then it must pass Jan Lokpal bill to fight demon of corruption

It is most welcome.The Govt appears to have rewarding a true social activist for the Honour which should be accepted by him as a recognition.It is immeterial which party rules as it is the elected Government by the people.All political parties are corrupt and if you take five years of rule by BJP and the scams done during their NDA rule it will exceed when compared to more than 50yrs rule of congress.

That's the strategy imposed by govt.to divert the attention of people from passing of the lokpal bill.

Annaji should politely dishonour this award.Enemy is always enemy.It can never become a friend.Annaji should not forget the eventful morning of 16th August,2011 and all mental harassments he had been metted by congress party for allotting a place in New Delhi to take up his fast.On the one hand they will hand over this award and the next moment they will send the CBI to arrrest him on grounds of taking bribe or theft and to prove the same they will utilise his fingerprint and any other dirty tricks.If Delhi govt. is so eager to honour Annaji,let them deposit the amount in Anna's charitable fund.Annaji is shrewd enough and GOD is also with him who will protect him from the evil designs of the congress.

The congress Govt. appreciated the rural development done by Anna ji.but no posative cooperation seen on strong JAN LOKPAL BILL.this is the strong desire of rural and urban public.if govt. will pass the strong anti-corruption bill,then the public will appreciate the govt. work and will reward the re-govern to India.

Why now in UP election times? Even if Delhi govt sincerely wants to place on record its appreciation for Anna's work by rewarding him, the time chosen is not right. Their motive may be suspected.

Going by the comments of many people here, it seems you all are those people who sit on the shore and curse the sea. One has to go venture out in the sea to experience the dangers and the problems. What Anna is doing may be right but who is fuelling the corruption dragon. We the common people. The government is just recognising his efforts. But this must be done with caution. Giving him 25 lacs is like handing him the gun to be fired at the government itself. Talking of 500 billion in swiss banks. Where did this money came from in the first place. From our own pockets. There are many social activists in the past too whose efforts have all gone in vain. But what Anna and his team are doing cn well be gauged from the showing of his so called farcial fast in Bombay and the lacklustre response he got in Punjab and UP elections. People like Anna , Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi are not being heard off as of now. Why ? Because they have realised the reality of being big mouthed.

Anna Hazare Baba Ramdev and should be given Bhatat Ratna for their effort to unite the country against JanLokPal Bill and Black Money the deadly evil which is eating our economy very badly.There is 500billion dollars of black money in switzerland and other foreign countries.
