New Delhi, Oct.11 (ANI): Sizzling models flaunted designer attires on the runway and showcased exquisite Spring-Summer collection 2013, by renowned designers at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, which ended on a high note here on Wednesday night.

Asia's biggest business fashion event, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 commenced on October 6, and celebrated its 20th edition on the runway.

There was colour, craft, embroidery, tradition, drama and 'zardozi' (gold thread work), everything that makes Indian fashion unique - and increasingly popular.

The designers added a dash of glamour and the models showcased the collection with great composure and elegance on the final day of the extravaganza.

India's most promising young fashion designer, Charu Parashar displayed Boho chic collection with printed pants and a free-spirited look.

Elaborating on her collection, Parashar said that neon colours were really hot for the Spring-Summer 2013.

"A lot of beiges, tangerine, print had lot of mix of colours - greens, lot of neons like we have done lot of other colours also which were not at the ramp but they are at the stalls. So, neon colours are really hot for the Spring-Summer 2013. A lot of appliqu this time in my collection, there was lot of embroidery but not in the face. So, bling is also something which is not going to be too over the top less of it for the next season," said Parashar.

The models held the audience spellbound with their oomph and confidence on the ramp.

The fashion designer-duo, Hemant and Nandita said that they chose white with flower prints in their collection and added that it was inspired by sportwear.

"It was summer, so, it was all about whites and flowers. What we did was again the prints that we are known for but in a very different manner. We took the same five - six motifs and revolved the whole collection with the same motifs. So, that was all about the collection. There was lot of sports wear inspiration, if you have seen, there were girls who were wearing hair bands and like you know the silhouettes were quite sporty, they were of short lengths, like you see, tennis dresses silhouettes were there," said fashion designer-duo, Hemant and Nandita.

Designer Sulakshana Monga showcased a military inspired collection on the final, portraying the stronger side of women.

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is the most prominent fashion week in India, as it has increasing number of Indian and International buyers visiting in every year.

Several Bollywood starlets and fashion divas across the country are expected to be a part of this glamorous weeklong extravaganza.
