Mumbai: The IPL Governing Council met here on Wednesday to discuss various issues, relating to the termination of cash-strapped Deccan Chargers, and matters regarding its new franchise, for which tenders have been floated.
The committee discussed about the legal ramifications of the Deccan Chargers termination and about the future of nearly 30 players (foreign and Indian), who have been left without a team due to this decision.
However, the BCCI brass was tight-lipped on the outcome of the meeting and there were not any media release that provided details of the events.
