New Delhi, June 7 (ANI): Congress leader Rashid Alvi on Thursday said there is no difference of opinion between the ruling party and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), saying the two political outfits are on the same page on issues of national concern.
"Difference of opinion does not hold much importance. Trinamool Congress is our ally partner and we trust them completely," said Alvi.
"There can be difference of opinion with anyone it can take place within a single party. If they have presented their opinion to the prime minister in a letter then we do not have a problem with that. People should not unnecessarily speculate things on this issue," he added.
It may be recalled here that Union Railway Minister Mukul Roy had on Wednesday skipped a meeting of key economic ministers called by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to review their performance.
Moreover, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee had earlier expressed disappointment with the petrol price hike.
Banerjee had also a rally in protest against the petrol price hike in Kolkata earlier on May 31, and reiterated her demand for a total rollback of the petrol price hike. (ANI)
