Melbourne, Oct 15 (ANI): Australian skipper Michael Clarke wants cricket to be the nation's top sport and will outline Australia's plan to return to the top of world cricket on Monday.
At the Cricket Australia season launch in Sydney, Clarke will also use the inaugural "captain's address" to promote the sport's vision to be the nation's favourite.
Under the banner "Cricket's Back", the Australian skipper will speak of the team's blueprint for sustained success across the Test and one-day formats with an incredibly busy 15 months ahead.
The start of the push back to top place begins with Australia's three-Test series against current world No.1 South Africa next month, The Daily Telegraph reports.
The series against the Proteas will be followed in quick succession by Test and one-day series against Sri Lanka, a one-day series against the West Indies and four Tests in India before back-to-back Ashes series in 2013. (ANI)
