Cash-for-vote scam: Former Advani aide Kulkarni sent to Tihar

New Delhi: Sudheendra Kulkarni, a former aide of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani, was Tuesday sent to judicial custody till Oct 1 in connection with the 2008 cash-for-votes scandal.

Kulkarni, who appeared before Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal after repeatedly failing to do so Sep 6 and Sep 19 on the ground that he was in the US, was sent to Tihar jail.

He had applied for interim bail, which was rejected.

The court had on Sep 19 warned Kulkarni's counsel that if he failed to appear on the next date, the court would issue an arrest warrant against him.

Speaking to reporters here, Kulkarni said that he acted as a whistle blower and his aim was to expose the corrupt practices of the Congress party led Central government.

"I was the mastermind who exposed this scam of corruption and whatever I did was right because it is essential for the public of the country to know that how the parliamentarians elected by them have been purchased by giving them Rs. 10 or 20 crores If our MPs or MLAs would be bought like this then what would be the future of Indian democracy? It was our duty to expose it, which I did," said Kulkarni.

Kulkarni further said that he was not afraid to go to the jail in case the court found him guilty.

"Now the issue is that, who was the ultimate beneficiary of this scam, because the government got all benefits out of this scam and remained in the power. But after three years, all the government's representatives who were involved in the scam are roaming scot-free and those who tried to expose it were detained. If the court would send me to the jail then I am ready for it," he said.

He also said that he has "nothing to hide". "I am not running away from anyone," he added.

"I am ready to go to jail if exposing corruption is a crime," he said.

The cash-for-votes scam had rocked proceedings in the Lok Sabha in 2008, when the ruling UPA Government, led by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, allegedly bribed lawmakers of other parties to help winning the confidence vote.

Original beneficent is not booked. in this case CBI safeguarding its masters, Manmohansing, Soniyaa, vayalaar ravi, etc., See these people arranged for money, and challenged that they will get confident vote, confidently. Because they know the those who received money will safeguard them. CBI didn't take this case sincerly.

Everybody in India including the judges pannel knows the fact that Who is the main criminal of this cash for vote conspiracy. When congress is giving a statement that BJP is trying to destabilize the government and thats why arranged a bate to catch them. The problem is if congress has clear intentions why woud they get caught by giving a sack full of money to Amarsingh to buy BJP memberts? Its all to divert the direction and attention of public to misled them. Supreme court judges must take this in to account and charge all those who got involved. and tried to destabilize the democracy.

Treating this case as a precedence, all those police officers and their teammates should now be sent to jails as they also trap & implicate girls (termed as "call girls" by them ) by visiting their places, becoming decoy customers of them, lure them and then finally arrest them by exposing them as call-girls. Luring girls for sexual favours against money is also said to be a crime as per IPC. Therefore, all those police officers who become decoy customers and offer money to the targeted girls for sexual favours should immediately be arrested and sent to jails on the similar lines by which Mr. Kulkarni and others have been sent to jail. They had done the same thing as police does to trap the call girls.

All the call girls ( beneficiaries of the deals) should be left free to enjoy their business and lifestyles because the beneficiaries in the the above said case of cash-for-vote, i.e. the UPA govt, is left free.

NO ONE CAN IMPROVE THIS COUNTRY. AS LONG AS THE POLITICIANS LIFE IS SECURED I.E. I MEAN SAFETY WHICH IS PROVIDED AT X, Y AND Z-CATEGORY LEVELS. I PRAY THAT THESE BODYGAURDS IF THEY HAVE ANY PATRIOTISM IN THEM ATTACK THEIR CORRUPT LEADERS SO THAT NO PLOITICIAN WILL FEEL THAT HE CAN BE SAFE ALWAYS WITH SO MUCH SECURITY.
THIS MAY LOOK LIKE THE ONE'S HAPPENED IN AFGANISTAN BUT NO THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE - HERE U R DOING IT FOR UR COUNTRY TO GET RID OF BAD PEOPLE AND IN AFGANISTAN IT WAS MORE OF RELIGION ISSUES

now govt and parliamentarian will start claiming immunity of these actions like they did in case of sibu soren. it was approved by judiciary. this is why we need to cover these people under lokpal if we want to rid country of corruption.

in all this y is the ruing party being not investigated and y is the court also not directing the delhi police to investigate the congress. it seems even the judiciary is involved with the congress in corruption. all the more need to get the judiciary into the lokpal. the rot seems to have spread everywhere.

If you complain about the robber to police, you may be arrested, if the robber is from Congress. People please don’t get surprised if the UPA government arrest the person who exposed 2G.
