Carmen Electra 'dumps fiance Rob Patterson'

London, Oct 2 (ANI): Carmen Electra, who was recently spotted enjoying a night out with 'X Factor' mogul Simon Cowell, is single again after calling off her engagement with rocker Rob Patterson, it has been revealed.

The 'Baywatch' star reportedly split from Patterson, her fiance of four years in May, but the couple shot down reports at that time.

The 41-year-old guitarist - a member of nu metal band Otep and hard rock band Filter - changed his Facebook status from "engaged" to "single" on Monday.

A friend of theirs has claimed that the couple definitely put an end to their relationship in September.

"They have been trying to work things out for a while, but it just wasn't possible," the Daily Mail quoted the friend as telling Radar Online.

Patterson has already taken up residence elsewhere.

"Rob recently moved out of Carmen's house and is staying with friends," the friend added.

The 40-year-old actress married basketball star Dennis Rodman in November 1998, but filed for divorce in April 1999.

In November 2003, she married Dave Navarro, lead guitarist for the rock band Jane's Addiction, a marriage that lasted just over three years. (ANI)
