London, August 21 (ANI): Ultimo boss Michelle Mone has revealed she turned to booze to cope with the pain of her love split.
The 40-year-old downed a bottle of wine every night after the breakdown of her 19-year marriage.
Mone's world tore apart when she learnt that her ex-husband Michael, 46, was seeing one of her employees soon after they parted last December.
"I don't like unhealthy foods now, so I didn't turn to junk foods," the Daily Star quoted Mone as telling new! Magazine.
"What I did do was open a bottle of wine a night. It was getting to be every single night.
"I would open a bottle of wine and then it would be gone."
When her personal trainer Matt Roberts found out, he ordered her to cut down on drink for the sake of her health.
"Now I'm only allowed wine a couple of nights a week," she said.
"I found it hard at first, but this is my fourth week of doing it and, after a while, you get used to it.
"The first few nights I was like: 'Oh my God, I can't do this!'"
The businesswoman has now found love with Dubai-based tycoon Karl French, 44, while her ex is still seeing bra designer Samantha Bunn, 31. (ANI)
