Boy killed in car crash during serial shooting

Hyderabad, Oct 26 (IANS) A five-year-old boy was killed and a girl injured when they were run over by a car during the shooting of a television serial here Friday, police said.

The children, who had come to watch the shooting of the Telugu TV serial "Indrani" at Chandanagar, came under the wheels of the car, which was being allegedly driven by a TV actress.

Police, however, did not confirm this.

According to an eyewitnesses, the driver lost control of the vehicle, hitting the people who had gathered to watch the shooting.

Satwaik Reddy was killed on the spot while a girl identified only as Satwika was injured. She was admitted to a local hospital. It was not immediately clear if the two were related.
