Bollywood prays for Sandy victims

New Delhi, Oct 30 (IANS) With Hurricane Sandy wreaking havoc in the US, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu have expressed concern for those affected and are praying for the well-being of everyone.

Sandy hit the East Coast of US early Monday, and has taken its cities by storm.

Like most others, Bollywood stars have been tracking the updates on the hurricane, and took to Twitter to share their concern. Here's what they wrote:

Amitabh Bachchan: Hurricane 'Sandy' still huge cause of concern... Satellite pictures look so frightening. Be safe everyone!

Priyanka Chopra: Supposed to fly to New York City! Sandy needs to leave!!!! Hope all's well there! Be careful.

Anupam Kher: My prayers for everyone's safety and wellbeing in America. May Lord Shiva protect you all from any kind of harm. Om Namah Shivay.
