  • ‘Nokia Days are back again.. :-)’ said an elated comment to my previous post introducing the Nokia Lumia 520. 

    Here’s more from Nokia, the people’s brand. In a harsh battle of smart phones Nokia is strengthening its Lumia line up to counter the aggression of android phones spearheaded by Samsung’s galaxy series. iPhones due to their higher price tag and Blackberry due to their lost glory has not eaten up into the market share of the once glorious Nokia, as much as the android phones have.

    Now backed by the Windows Phone and Windows 8 operating systems of Microsoft, Nokia is making up for its belated, awkward entry into the smart phone market. Mid-April, with Lumia 720 they are adding another phone to the Lumia line up.

    Smartphone for the socially active consumers—that’s how Nokia describes its Lumia 720. It offers a high end camera, multitude of navigation options and an integrated entertainment and social experience.
