Varanasi, Oct. 22 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Murali Manohar Joshi on Monday refused to react on allegations that children of senior BJP leaders had or were indulging in improper business dealings.
Joshi said that he did not want to comment or react to Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh's claim that his party had evidence against kith and kin of former prime minister and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani.
"Digvijay Singh keeps on blowing his trumpet. I don't want to comment on it. People know what sort of person Atal is," Joshi told reporters in Varanasi.
During his visit, Joshi warned that the BJP would soon launch an agitation in the interest of farmers, if the Uttar Pradesh Government didn't stop companies from extracting unrestricted water.
"The big companies have been given permission to extract unrestricted water. It should be stopped. If the matter is not resolved reasonably, then the Bharatiya Janata Party will not only will raise the issue in assembly and parliament but it will also launch an agitation in the interest of farmers," Joshi said.
