    BCCI trying to bankrupt Pak, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka cricket boards: PCB

    Islamabad, Feb 9(ANI): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf has accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of trying to bankrupt the cricket boards of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

    Ashraf, however, said that that the PCB, however, was in a financially sound.

    The Express Tribune quoted him, as saying that he had also discussed with BCCI President S Srinivasan about restoring Indo-Pak cricket ties, but the proposal was rejected on grounds that India would not allow it.

    Ashraf said: "We're ready to play against them when their prime minister and board president want the teams to play. Maybe it's their selectors and team management who are afraid of facing Pakistan." (ANI)

      I am serious, it has always been difficult to face pakistan, I being an Indian, i endorse this statement of Mr. Zaka. No way India is comparable to pakistani team. the Indians will lose certainly, see our condition in australia. Recently I spoke to numerous people in Mymbai, every one endorsed that pan is playing better cricket then india. In India it is now money minting factory not a sport.

        You are a scared and defeatist Indian. A shame to the nation. Ausies would decimate Pakis too in the form they are in. India have never been scared of Pakistan. They know it too well after having lost all wars. But the cricket field is for a game. Not war. Skills win the day for you. Sometimes luck and sometimes just your form on the day. Ups and downs are a part of the game and every team goes through it. It was the Pakis who choked and froze with fear in the World Cup. The Indians were brave and won it.
        Even then, the Pakis out of their inferiority complex compare every thing in relation to India. Pray to god that they grow up and stop this childishness. Their people need to know that they too can do good and live better lives and build a better nation for themselves.

      Well I'm a Pakistani but these claims are way out of line from Ashraf, yes Pakistani cricket team is better than Indian team but I don't think they are trying to bankcrupt Pakistan nor they are just AFRAID to play Pakistan!

      It's a political issue and they don't want to play with us over political disputes, lets stay at that!

      What a butt of joke, India afraid of Pakis..never have been and never will. Don't Pakis realize, India is the current World Champion...Why Mr Zaka forgets how they were beaten squarely in front of the world last year in the World Cup. When India is not afraid of any country to play cricket, why afraid of miniscule Paki country created out its womb. Think People...those comments by Zaka is frustration and nothing else...first no team wants to visit them; end result is they themselves have to play in Dubai..why blame BCCI for their own political system failure and ISI criminal activities in other countries

      Indians are so much more decent than the Pakis who though talented look like street fighters ready to indulge in brawls and fights, be it petty squabbles or one up manship games. Come on grow up all of you. It is just a game. There is nothing notional. Results are only for real matches played. As far as I remember, the last real game played between Pak and India was in the World Cup and the Pakis choked there. So much for being scared. Ha.

      Scared... Well ask the Paki soldiers sitting across our ridgelines in Kashmir. They are the ones who are scared. The poor souls are badly led and poorly fed. That's the reason for their fear. Not that they are bad soldiers. Pakis are too busy politicking and have forgotten the civilised way of living.
