Bagan's request

Mohun Bagan have written a letter to the IFA, requesting them to postpone the team's CFL Premier Division tie against Police AC on Wednesday. However, IFA is unlikely to make any changes.

Bagan will return to the city on Tuesday after playing their I-league match against Pune FC, on Monday, and take on East Bengal in the I-League Derby, on December 9.

Katherine Ip of Hong Kong emerged as the singles champion of the ITF Women's Tennis Tournament, at the BTA Complex, on Saturday. In the final, Katherine beat third-seed Rishika Sunkara 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. The Debanjan Sen Foundation will be organising an Inter-School Athletics Championship at the La Martiniere for Boys ground from December 10 to 15. Around 700 participants from 11 boys' school and seven girls' school are expected to participate. The events will be held in three categories ' U-13, U-16 and U-19.
