Bangalore, May 10 (ANI): Polling for the first phase of Karnataka Assembly elections began on Saturday, May 10 amidst tight security. Polls are being held for eighty-nine constituencies spread over eleven districts in the southern part of the state.
A total of 953 candidates, including seventeen women are in fray for the polls. More than 18,000 polling centres have been set up where nearly 17.
3 million voters will exercise their franchise today.
