I am a fan of Bollywood music: Enrique Iglesias

India, Oct. 18 -- As Delhi gets all set for Enrique concert, we spoke to the rockstar himself! The 37-year-old speaks about his most-awaited performance in India, his love for Bollywood music and his future projects.

This is after 8 years that you are coming down to India to perform, how does it feel to be back again?

I've been looking forward to this trip for years. Been trying to come back for a while, and just waiting for the right opportunity.

What do you have to say about Bollywood music? Have you heard any Bollywood music?

I have heard many, and seen many videos, and am a fan for sure.

You have collaborated with Sunidhi Chauhan on the Indian remix of your song Heartbeat. Will you be performing the song with her when you come to India next month? Or recording another song with her?

You'll just have to come and see for yourself!

You have many fans across the world. What is it that makes you such a hit, especially with women?

I have no clue! Perhaps you can tell me!

You've collaborated with some of the biggest names in music on your albums. Who would be the next musician/s that you'd like to collaborate with?

I'm actually in the studio now deciding just that.

Can you please tell us about your most memorable concert?

There have been so many it's hard for me to single out any inparticularly. I can say that I love playing Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall in NYC. There is just so much history there.

MORE ON ENRIQUE IGLESIAS

Enrique is in Delhi

Fans can hold their breath as Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias has arrived in India for his multi-city tour. He landed in Pune on Tuesday evening by a private flight from Los Angeles.

The 36-year old music sensation was seen happily posing for the shutterbugs as he arrived at the airport. "It feels great to be back in India. The last time I was here was in 2004, so it's been many years but I'm happy to be here," he said at the airport.

After his maiden performance in Pune yesterday, he will be performing in Delhi for the first time tomorrow, followed by Bangalore on October 21. "I had to fly for 22 hours and right now I am going to try and get some rest at the hotel. I want to walk around the city and try some good food and have a great show. I want to thank everyone for all the support; all the fans in India and radio stations playing my songs," he added.

His crew arrived a day before he did, to set up for his first gig in Pune. It seems that Enrique's crew is as adventurous and also looking forward to eating some Indian food. For the first stop on their week long itinerary, the crew had requested some typical Maharashtrian food that Pune is known for, along with other Indian dishes. On the menu for them was Misal with Pav, Bharli Bangi, Maharashtrian Style Chicken Curry, Phulka and Vada Pav.

Enrique will be flying to Delhi today. Who knows if he has plans to feast on some Old Delhi chaat and butter chicken in the city! FULL STORY
