Advani withdraws "UPA II illegitimate" comment

L K Advani said in parliament on Wednesday that UPA II is an illegitimate government. An angry Sonia Gandhi tried to raise her voice over the immediate uproar from the Treasury benches.

Leader of the House Sushil Kumar Shinde said Advani's remark is an insult to the Parliament.

Speaker says Advani's remarks will be expunged - and asks Advani to take back the remark…

Advani goes on to say the PM should be ready to face the electorate.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi said Advani is a senior leader and he knows what he is saying.
