    57th National school Taekwondo competition held in Guwahati

    Guwahati, Feb 21 (ANI): The 57th National School under-17 Taekwondo competition recently concluded in Guwahati.

    Manipur won the overall championship with 35 points. More than 300 participants from 18 states took part in the four-day meet organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare under the aegis of (SGFI) School Games Federation of India.

    "Taekwondo is having a good scope in Northeast for National and International level. We have got a great aspect of Boxing, Archery and Taekwondo in our state. Players are participating at International level so we will look forward in the future," Pradip Hazarika, Director, Assam Sports. (ANI)
