Led by a fine knock of 41 runs from Prashant Chopra and superb bowling from Yugnik (4 for 21), Panchkula Coaching Center, defeated Gurgaon Cricket Center by seven wickets to lift the Ram Lal Taneja Memorial Inter-Centre Haryana Cricket Tournament at Gurgaon cricket ground on Wednesday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Gurgaon were bundled out for 99 runs in 21 overs. Yugnik and Avinash Singh broke the back of Gurgaon batting with superb display of bowling. Wickets fell in heap after the dismissal of the openers. Only Vijay Chouhan showed some resistance with 27 runs. In reply, the Panchkula batsmen made short work of the target with Prashant Chopra smashing the bowlers all over the ground in the initial overs. Panchkula got to the target with ease losing only 3 wickets in just 14 overs.
