Who doesn't love a bit of bling, especially if it comes from the House of Dior? Now, they are offering a light, handmade flip phone, shimmering with diamonds and sapphires and "opening like a compact case". Launched in October worldwide, the phone, beneath the crystal linings, is just like any other ordinary one with just a 2-mega pixel camera.

The crisscross patterns on it are reminiscent of the Lady Dior bag. The diamond-encrusted phone is available in black, white and red and is pegged at Rs 13 lakh, while the sapphire-encrusted one, available in muted black, white, grey, an understated red and pink, is pegged at Rs 2.6 lakh.

And the best accessory is My Dior, a mini phone. It snugly fits into your palm and can be hooked to your bag.

"It's designed keeping a woman's needs in mind. Many a time, women dump the phone in their handbag, spending hours rummaging for it," says a Dior spokesperson.
