Model-turned actor Gul Panag took her role as official tweeter for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) very seriously. "I am a thinking person, and I refuse to be dazzled by who's on the front row and how many Birkins a celebrity owns.

For me what's far more interesting is the way fashion draws in business. A metal armour and outlandish colour might mean high fashion to some, but if it's not wearable then it doesn't cut much ice with me.

I am going to bust some myths and de-mystify fashion for people who want to know more than the obvious," she declared. Her favourite designers include Narendra Kumar Ahmad and Gauri and Nainika Karan, but just to prove a point she is going to wear outfits designed by Anita Dongre.

"I love how she's made fashion accessible to everybody. That's what being a good designer is all about," she said.
