Lindsay Lohan brands her father a 'lunatic'

London, Nov 2 (IANS) American actress-singer Lindsay Lohan has lashed out at her father Michael Lohan, branding him as a 'lunatic'.

'My father is a lunatic and doesn't even deserve such a title since he has never been around in my life other than when he had threatened me and my family. He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life,' Lindsay wrote on her twitter page.

Lindsay also said she wants to change her surname because she doesn't want to be associated with Michael.

'The next shopping spree I am going on is for a new last name,' she tweeted.
