Mumbai, July 15 (IANS) The Indian equities market was trading with huge loss in the afternoon trade Tuesday. Banking, technology and power stocks were under heavy selling pressure.
At 12:30 p.m., the 30-share BSE Sensex was down by 449.75 points or 3.35 percent at 12,880.76. At the day's low, it touched 12,859.01.
At the same time, the broader-based S&P CNX Nifty was down by 126.45 points or 3.13 percent at 3,913.25.
The market breadth was negative. On BSE, 560 shares advanced compared to 1,738 that declined and 61 that remained unchanged.
If you are young, have a hectic social life where you drink and party, and have applied for a job, chances are you will lose out to someone who is a teetotaler.
