Teen held for raping 3-yr-old

Mumbai, Nov. 7 -- The police on Thursday arrested a teenager for allegedly raping the three-year-old daughter of his family friend.

This is the third such case of teenagers raping minors this week. The police said the accused, who works as a waiter at a suburban hotel, returned to his shanty in Nallasopara after watching a pornographic film. He saw the girl playing outside her hut, as her parents were not home. He allegedly took her to an isolated spot and raped her, said police inspector Pradeep Mane. When the girl's mother returned she found her crying and bloodstains on her clothes.

He has been sent to the children's remand home.
