The Bangalore-based GMR group is a part of a consortium that has completed a new terminal for the Sabiha Gokcen International airport in Istanbul, Turkey. The terminal, which has been completed in a record of 18 months, was inaugurated on Saturday. GMR, which also leads the consortium that is developing Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, has become the first Indian private sector company to have successfully completed an airport project abroad.
