Fashion takes over

India, Oct. 23 -- The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week spring/summer 2010 (WIFW) is a unified fashion week in true sense.

This time, the week doesn't only see designers from the splinter group that participated in the breakaway Delhi Fashion Week but also a strong contingent from Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) regulars. Tarun Tahiliani and Rohit Bal, who had skipped the WIFW for two seasons, are back with a bang.

Tahiliani will be opening the week while Bal will close it with his magnanimous grand finale show. LFW regulars Narendra Kumar Ahmad and Wendell Rodricks are showcasing at WIFW after a long hiatus as are Sonal Dubal and Anshu Arora Sen.

On the business front too, WIFW will have Didier Grumbach, the president of Chambre Syndicale, international buyers from Anthropologie, La Rinascente, Selfridges, Maria Luisa, Barneys New York, Tsum - Moscow and Saks Dubai.
