The countdown has begun and #8230; with barely a day and a half left for the party of the year to begin, the 80 lucky winners of the HT City Party with Bollywood contest are gearing up for the big night. This Friday they will meet and party with Bollywood hotshots John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Sameera Reddy and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

The contest received an overwhelming response - a whopping 3 lakh plus SMSes during its 15-day run - until it finally came to a close on July 22. Come 8 pm tomorrow evening and all roads will lead to Sheraton Hotel, Saket.

Winners can barely wait to meet their favourite stars. "I'm very, very excited, mostly about the possibility of shaking hands with Deepika Padukone," says MBA student Naresh Kumar Hasija.

The lucky few to have won a party invite are busy ensuring that they look their best on the big night. Honey Sharma had lady luck on her side - in addition to winning an invite to the party, she also won a makeover by noted make-up artist Ambika Pillai.

The party will see DJ Suketu rock the evening. Super excited about playing for the Delhi crowd, he says, "I play here so often that people have started thinking I am a Delhiite.

And I'm not complaining, the Delhi audience is truly awesome. They always support you.

" Suketu also has a special treat in store for those attending the party. He has worked on a special remix of Ba-Khudha Tumhi Ho from Kismat Konnection, which he'll be playing for the first time at the HT City party.

"I will also be doing my new mix of Kabhi Kabhi Aditi (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na) and Khuda Jaane (Bachna Ae Haseeno) along with two perennial crowd favourites Woh Lamhe and Bin Tere Sanam, so it will be a totally energised affair," he says. The HT City contest that ran over the past three weeks, saw lots of excitement.

Many readers made it their daily routine to SMS the answer to the 'question of the day' first thing in the morning. For instance, Usha Wadhwa, a Raja Garden resident, who "sent in answers on almost all the days".

Though she hoped to win a party invite or a laptop, she felt quite lucky to have at least won the HT City rewards booklet. Over one lakh Delhiites won various goodies in the contest.
