Knot so plastic

Models strutting down the ramp is no news, but if mannequins sashay along with them, then that makes for head-lines. The recently-held fashion show by Ok Play (manufacturer of plastic products) and Purform, the world's largest- selling mannequin brand from New Zealand, to announce the strategic tie up between the two, saw this one-of-its-kind show.

The show started with model Amanpreet Wahi parading the ramp with a male mannequin. Following her were a few other models with their mannequin counterparts.

Surprisingly, the child models in the show walked with more elan and ease than the experienced ones, who tripped in every two steps they took. Taking inspiration from Asha Bhosle's song in which the mannequin turns into a real human being, the showstopper saw the mannequin bride turn (though not quite as suddenly as in the song) into a human being.

Now that's what we call novelty at its best!.
