The occasion was the launch of Auto Bild, India Today's car magazine in association with Axel Springer at the ITC Maurya. And the evening had rightly picked up the momentum from the word go.
With who's who both from the media and automobile world, it was certainly a dazzling event. Guests started pouring in early as no one wanted to miss out on the fun.
Aroon Purie, editor-in-chief of the India Today Group, was seen playing the perfect host as he went around attending the invitees personally. President of Axel Springer International, Ralph Buchi was seen along with Julian Deutz as heads of leading Indian and international car makers attended the launch.
Auto Bild sells over five million copies in more than 30 countries and the first India edition is their 33rd in all. The venue was all decked up with tyres while the wall was converted into a museum for Auto Bild editions.
Red ruled the evening, and some vibrant hues of the colour kept splashing in forms of vibrant creative dance items and band performances.
If you are young, have a hectic social life where you drink and party, and have applied for a job, chances are you will lose out to someone who is a teetotaler.
