SYDNEY, Australia (AP) _ Melbourne center Greg Inglis scored two tries Sunday to lead the Storm to a 30-14 win over the Canberra Raiders in Australia's National Rugby League. Fullback Billy Slater scored a try and had a hand in three others for the Storm, who took the lead in the 36th minute and then dominated the second half.

In the other Sunday match, Penrith beat Parramatta 22-16. On Saturday, the St.

George Illawarra Dragons led 14-0 at halftime en route to a 24-16 win over the Newcastle Knights. The Knights scored two tries in five minutes, both by replacement Junior Sau, to make the result close.

Manly turned a 14-12 deficit into a 34-14 win Friday over the Gold Coast Titans, solidifying its position in first place with a fifth straight win. The Sea Eagles scored the final four tries of the match, including a 100-meter effort from David Williams with 13 minutes left.

Manly leads the league on percentages over the Sydney Roosters and Cronulla, all three teams with 11-4 records. Melbourne is in fourth at 10-4.

Manly coach Des Hasler joked about published reports last week that his players had used a substance made partly of calves' blood to help them overcome injury. "We're moo-ving along," he said.

Hasler said his team played poorly for most of the match: "We were pretty ugly for at least 60-65 minutes there, but able to rally enough to get home with the points." Titans coach John Cartwright said a win was possible before Manly's four-try blitz.

"It's just a couple of basic errors and just some intensity for the 80 minutes, that's the difference between the top sides and the rest of us," Cartwright said. On Monday, the Bulldogs play South Sydney to close out the 17th round.

The New Zealand Warriors, Wests Tigers, North Queensland, Sydney Roosters, Brisbane and Cronulla all had weekend byes following last week's deciding third match in the State of Origin series at Sydney. Queensland won the match 16-10 to clinch the Origin series for the third year in a row.
