Garifa (North 24 Parganas), Nov 8 (PTI) The Railways will set up a museum dedicated to novelist Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay if the West Bengal government failed to start construction work on the project within three months, Railways Minister Mamata Banerjee said today. "The Railways had provided land to the state government for setting up the museum in 2007.
Still no work has been done so far," she said. "If the state government fails to start work in three months, we will seek return of the land and commence the project on our own," Banerjee warned.
The museum was to come up at Naihati near here, the birthplace of the novelist credited with penning India''s national song ''Vande Mataram''.
