Bengal score comprehesnive win over Hyderabad

Kolkata, Nov 7 (PTI) Hosts Bengal handed a humiliating an innings and 73 runs defeat to Hyderabad on the final day of their elite group A match of the C K Nayudu trophy here today. By virtue of their comprehensive win, Bengal earned six points including one bonus.

Sayan Mondal brought curtains on the Hyderabadi innings when he claimed wicket of Sarvesh Kumar after the visitors had added just eight runs to their overnight score of 157 for 8. Hyderabadi opener Benzamin Thomas did not bat in the second innings due to injury sustained earlier in the match.

Bengal will take on Saurashtra from November 11 at the same venue. Brief Score: Hyderabad : First Innings - 142 all out Bengal : First innings - 380 all out Hyderabad : Second innings 165 for 9 wickets.
