Prices remain flat in thin trade

New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) Steady conditions developed on the on the wholesale steel and iron market today as prices moved in a tight range on subdued demand and settled around previous levels. Traders said adequate stocks positions against sluggish demand mainly kept prices steady.

Following are today''s quotations in Rs per tonne: CTD saria (Kamdhenu) 8-mm, 31,400, 10-mm, 31,300, 12-mm 31,400, 16-25 mm, 31,200 and 25-32 mm, Rs 31,300. Rathi tor steel : 8-mm 31,600, 10-mm 31,200, 12-mm 31,400, 16-20 mm 31,300 and 25-32 mm 31,000.

Saria Jai Bharat (iso 9002) 8-mm 31,000, 10 mm 30,800 12 -mm 30,700, 16-25 mm 30,700. Amba saria (iso-9002) 8-mm 30,300, 10-mm 30,500, 12-mm 30,300, 16-25-mm 30,300.
