Ahmedabad, Mumbai freight rates down

New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) Freight rates for the ten metric tonne load section for Ahmedabad and Mumbai fell by Rs 500 in the local truck transport markets today on restricted cargo movements against easy availability of trucks. Transporters said restricted cargo movements against easy availability of trucks led to decline in Ahmedabad and Mumbai freight rates.

Freight rates from Delhi to Ahmedabad and Mumbai was enquired lower by Rs 500 each at Rs 11,000 and Rs 17,000. Following are today''s freight rates load of per 10 tonnes: Ahmedabad 11,000 Hyderabad 27,000 Mumbai 17,000 Vijaywada 28,000 Baroda 14,000 Chennai 31,000 Pune 19,000 Bangalore 33,000 Surat 15,000 Mysore 36,000 Kanpur 10,000 Pondicherry 34,000 Kolkata 23,000 Coimbatore 38,000 Ludhiana 10,000 Kochi 43,000 Chandigarh 8,000 Thiruvananthapuram 45,000 Jaipur 10,000 Goa 27,000 Indore 12,000 Gwalior 9,000 Patna 18,000 Guwahati 39,000.
