Elton John leaves hospital

Los Angeles, Nov 6 (PTI) Veteran musician Elton John has been released from a London hospital after being treated from a flu and E.coli bacterial infection. The 62-year-old singer, who was suffering from a "serious case" of E.coli bacterial infection and influenza left the hospital yesterday.

The star is recuperating at home and feeling fine, said John''s spokesman Gary Farrow, People online reported. The hitmaker will resume his concert schedule in Oakland and San Jose, California, where he will join Billy Joel on Nov 14 and 17.

John was forced to cancel a series of concerts in Britain, Ireland and US over the last few weeks because of his illness.
