Pitt shops for new motorcycle in Japan

London, Nov 5 (PTI) Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt, who has a penchant for motorbikes and boasts of a huge collection of them, is now planning to buy one from Japan. Pitt is turning a promotional trip to Japan into a shopping expedition to look for a new motorcycle after his favourite ride was damaged in an accident last month, Contactmusic reported.

The ''Babel'' actor fell off his motorbike after clipping a parked car while weaving through traffic in Los Angeles. He emerged unscathed but his beloved wheels weren''t so lucky.

Pitt blames the accident on the paparazzi who were following him at the time, but added that he is excited about perusing top motorcycle manufacturers while promoting his latest movie ''Inglourious Basterds'' in Tokyo. "I had a little mishap.

No injuries, except my ego. I was trying to get away from some paparazzi and instead gave them a good story," Pitt said.

"It was my favourite bike, so that is really sad. (But) I will definitely be looking at motorcycles (in Japan).

You''ve got some of the best builders right here," Pitt added. The 45-year-old star''s collection includes a Ducati Desmosedici RR, a Monster 696 and a selection of Harley-Davidsons.
