Advocate, bodyguard killed in Bihar

Chapra (Bihar), Nov 5 (PTI) An advocate and his bodyguard were shot dead by unidentified men when they were proceeding to a trail court to appear in a murder case in Bihar''s Saran district today. Ramprakash Singh practising at the Patna High Court and Sanjay Kumar Singh were shot dead by unidentified men from close range, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Saran, A K Karna, said.

"Four gunmen in two motorcycles stopped the vehicle of the advocate at Sarai Batsya petrol pump, shot him and his bodyguard from close range. Both died on the spot," the SP said.

Singh was on the way to Chapra from Patna to appear in a murder case when they were killed, Karna said.
