Mentha oil futures extend gains on better demand

New Delhi, Nov 4 (PTI) Mentha oil futures prices continued to show an upward trend and gathered another 0.21 per cent today, taking cues from firming spot markets on good demand. At the MCX counter, mentha oil for current November contract added 0.21 per cent to Rs 528.50 per kg in trading volume in 193 lots.

Similarly, mentha oil for delivery in December contract traded 0.09 per cent higher to Rs 535.20 per kg in business volume in 88 lots. Traders said firming trend in the spot markets on better demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly pushed up mentha oil prices at futures market.
