Castorseed futures down on subdued spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 4 (PTI) Castorseed futures prices declined by 0.66 per cent as speculators off-loaded positions, tracking weak trend in spot markets on subdued demand. At the NCDEX, castorseed price for current November month contract fell by 0.66 per cent at Rs 2,780 per quintal, with an open interest in 830 lots.

The commodity for most-active December contract delivery shed 0.44 per cent at Rs 2,804 per quintal, having an open interest in 1,250 lots. Marketmen said slackness in industrial demand at physical markets, put weight on the prices of castorseed in futures.
