Chandigarh, Oct 31 (PTI) A 14-year-old girl, studying in a school in Karnal in Haryana, succumbed to the dreaded swine flu at PGIMER here today, a health official said. The girl, admitted to the hospital yesterday in a serious condition, had tested positive for H1NI, said H C Gera, Nodal officer for swine flu cases.
The girl was a hosteller, he said adding all her family members had been quarantined. Earlier, a teenaged girl, hailing from Ambala, had died of the infection in a hospital here.
A middle-aged woman, a resident of Solan in Himachal Pradesh, had succumbed to the disease at a private hospital at Mohali, near here, recently.
