Tezpur, Oct 31 (PTI) Three forest department personnel were severely beaten up today by National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Ranjan Daimary faction) militants in Assam''s Sonitpur district, police said. A group of 14 militants came to Sonai Rupai Wildlife Sanctuary and beat up the three personnel and left after snatching away their wireless set.
The three were admitted to a hospital at Tezpur in serious condition, police said, adding two of them were identified as Ranabindra Roy and Ranjan Gogoi.
