Muslims offering prayers for Narendra Modi''s recovery

Vadodara, Oct 30 (PTI) Large number of Muslims including religious leaders from many parts of central Gujarat today offered prayers at various dargahs for the speedy recovery of chief minister Narendra Modi, suffering from swine flu. Talking to PTI here tonight, former chairman of Gujarat Minority Community Board Abdul Gani Quereshi said soon after the community members learnt of Modi''s illness, they started gathering at dargahs and offered prayers for his speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, students and teachers of M S university of Baroda also offered prayers in the temple and conduced yagnas for Modi''s health. Reports of chanting of ''mritunjay japs'' and ''yagnas'' have also been received from various parts of central Gujarat.
