Mumbai, July 4 (PTI) The stock market recovered from its early lows and was trading in the green at 1030 hours today amid worries about rising crude oil prices and high inflation. Marketmen said the market may turn weak after the release of inflation data around noon, which is anticipated to move up substantially from its last level of 11.43 per cent.

After touching a low of 13,027.79 at the outset, the 30-share index of the Bombay Stock Exchange recovered smartly and was quoted at 13,218.56 at 1030 hours, a rise of 124.45 from its previous close. Similarly, the 50-share S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was up 24.70 points at 3,950.45 at 1030 hours from its last close.

Investors seemed worried about the sky-high crude oil prices, which jumped past USD 145 a barrel level yesterday, as well as about inflation, which could lead to further monetary tightening by the central bank. PTI.
