RBI springs to action as shares plunge on global cues

Mumbai, October 10 (ANI): India's main Bombay Stock Exchange's sensitive index, the Sensex tumbled on Friday, joining a global sell off on worries about a recession. Sensex fell by more than 9 percent on early trade and the 50-share NSE index was down by 6 percent at 3,302.85.

Stock analysts said that though the countries across the world are taking steps to counter the global trend.
