Federal and state authorities plan to announce charges against 14 new defendants in the Galleon insider-trading scandal, sources familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

Authorities scheduled a news conference for midday.

Below are the names of some of the new defendants, according to charges filed against them in federal court in New York.

Zvi Goffer Worked at broker dealer Schottenfeld in 2007, worked at

hedge fund firm Galleon Group from January 2008 through

August 2008, then started hedge fund Incremental

Capital

Arthur Cutillo Attorney at law firm Ropes & Gray LLP

Jason Goldfarb Attorney

Craig Drimal Worked in Galleon's office space but was not employed

by Galleon

Emanuel Goffer Worked at Spectrum Trading LLC in 2007; currently

associated with Incremental Capital

Michael Kimelman Currently associated with Incremental Capital

David Plate Worked at Schottenfeld from June 2006 through March

2008; currently associated with Incremental Capital

Deep Shah Worked for Moody's Corp as an associate analyst

Ali Hariri Vice president at Atheros Communications
