INTERVIEW - Dassault Systemes seeing rising orders

Thu, Nov 5 01:27 PM

French software firm Dassault Systemes is seeing a rise in the number of projects it is receiving, but their size is smaller than earlier, its chief executive said on Thursday.

"Companies are very careful about deployment of resources," Bernard Charles told Reuters in an interview.

Charles, who is also president of the company, said the company views Europe as a resilient market, and Latin America as a market for future growth.

Dassault is looking at new contracts in the aerospace sector in India, he said.

Last month, the company, which is a leader in three-dimensional computer design software, cut its full-year sales guidance after a challenging third quarter.

The French firm helps industrial companies manage products through their life cycle from conception to recycling.
