Reuters - According to complaints filed with Manhattan federal court:

* U.S. files complaints in Manhattan federal court against ali hariri and deep shah.

* U.S. accuses hariri of conspiracy, securities fraud in connection with insider trading scheme.

* U.S. accuses shah of conspiracy, securities fraud in connection with insider trading scheme.

* U.S. accuses hariri of providing material nonpublic information about Atheros Communications Inc to a now cooperating witness, causing the purchase of Atheros stock.

* U.S. says transactions involving the inside information about Atheros resulted in $870,000 profit.

* U.S. says Atheros transactions involved hedge fund.

* U.S. accuses shah of providing material nonpublic information about Hilton Hotels to a now cooperating witness, causing the purchase of Hilton call options.

* U.S. says shah worked for Moody's Corp as an associate analyst at times relevant to the complaint.

* U.S. says that in 2007, the same year the Hilton call options were purchased, shah was involved with Moody's rating of Hilton.

* U.S. says shah also provided a cooperating witness with inside information about ADESA Inc and Kronos Inc.
