West Indies named Chris Gayle on Monday as captain for the three-test tour of Australia starting on Nov. 18.

The West Indies Cricket Board said David Williams would be the team coach and former pace bowler Joel Garner the team manager.

West Indies, have named a full strength side following the end of the dispute between the players and the board which led to a boycott of the Bangladesh home series in July.

Gayle was captain of the Caribbean team prior to the boycott.
