Depleted Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first in the second one-day international against India on Wednesday.

The tourists, who lead the seven-match series after winning the opening game by four runs on Sunday, are without express bowler Brett Lee and and all-rounder James Hopes, both down with injuries, although left-arm pacer Mitchell Johnson has been cleared to play.

Johnson had twisted his ankle while fielding in Vadodara, but will spearhead the attack with Ben Hilfenhaus drafted in along with Shaun Marsh for the day/night game.

India have been strengthened by the return of explosive middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh, in place of Virat Kohli, after missing game one with a finger injury.

Teams:

India: Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Dhoni (Captain, wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra, Praveen Kumar and Ishant Sharma.

Australia: Shane Watson, Shaun Marsh, Ricky Ponting (Captain), Tim Paine (wk), Mike Hussey, Adam Voges, Cameron White, Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Hauritz, Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus.
